The root of five generations Smt Lakshmamma the oldest in the closets of Dr Rajakumar family died after two days of illness at the age of 97 in the residence of SA Chinne Gowda in Rajajinagar Bangalore.

Smt Lakshmamma, mother of Smt Parvathamma Rajakumar, Lakshmi Govindaraj, Saraswathi and her child is the order of five generations in the family.

Hailing from Saligrama the days of Smt Lakshmamma was good in Bangalore and she was the source of inspiration for all events in the family tree.

Smt Lakshmamma is the grand mother of Shivanna, Raghanna, Puneeth Rajakumar, director S Prakash. She was the mother of eight children. The eldest in the family Rame Gowda is not living today.

SA Chinne Gowda, Smt Parvathamma Rajakuamar, SA Srinivas, SA Govindaraju, Jyamma, Nagamma and Hemavathi are the other children of Smt Lakshmamma.

The children, grand children, great grand children of Lakshmamma paid respect to the departed soul who was just short of 100.

The cremation took place on Wednesday afternoon at Sumanahalli on the ring road.
